Coming off an opening season win, the Indians (2-0, 0-0) scheduled up a couple classifications but came away with the same result, despite the closely contested match from the Pirates (1-1, 0-0), pulling away with a strong finish in the fourth set.
Kiley Power was a difference maker in the match for Colville, notching 32 assists and three aces, while Molly Schauls added nine digs and Brooke Stutzer contributed 13 kills.
The Indians will host Deer Park in their next game Sept. 17 beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Northport gets season opening win
Northport took to the road for their first match of the year and put up a dominant performance in taking down Cusick 3-1 (25-18, 25-7, 10-25, 25-22).
The Mustangs (1-0, 1-0) overmatched the Panthers (0-1, 0-1) through the first two sets but couldn’t carry that momentum into the third set to get the sweep. However, Northport came storming back in the fourth and held on to win a close set to get the overall win on the day.
Northport now looks to Inchelium to try and get their second win in as many days when they square off on the road with the Hornets Sept. 13 at 5 p.m.
