Three new COVID-19 cases reported on Wednesday in NE Washington

The NE Tri-County Health District reported three new positive COVID-19 cases in NE Washington that they received positive tests back for three people.

This increase’s the area’s total COVID-19 case count to 202 since the pandemic began. One new case was confirmed in east Ferry County in the Kettle Falls, Orient and Laurier area. Two new cases in Stevens County were confirmed in the Colville area.

Colville has seen 27 cases since the pandemic began, the highest number for a community in the Tri-County area.

There has been 23 new cases of COVID-19 in the past two weeks. NETCHD staff is working to notify close contacts and these individuals are being given guidance and advised of precautions they should take.
