(PRESS RELEASE/NE Washington Humane Society)
The NE Washington Humane Society will be meeting next month for its first time since the pandemic began on April 19 at 6:30 p.m. at Addy Grange. The society will be talking about county needs as the society was assisting the Stevens County Sheriff’s Office again, but this time rescuing chickens. A volunteer stepped up to rescue them, but facilities are needed.
NEWHS also turned down SCSO for fostering a pig because they did not have the facilities. Becky’s Best Buddies continues to house dogs for county residences and the SCSO but other facilities would be a big help. Talk about this and more at the NEWHS meeting.
