Air stagnation should end on Wednesday…
While an air stagnation brought a burn ban and some poor air quality in the region over the weekend, this next week should see that stagnant air lift by Wednesday. Temperatures will be in the high 30s for highs while the lows should hover around freezing.
Next Sunday, Jan. 20 will feature the warmest high with a 39 degree mark as morning rain and snow showers are expected on that day.
The low for the week should be Monday, Jan. 14, as temperatures are expected to dip to 21 on a sunny day, but the high on that day should be 35.
Rain and snow is expected on Thursday, Jan. 17, with a high of 38 and a low of 32. Showers are also expected on Saturday, Jan. 19.
Accumulations of pollutants because of none-moving air caused the state’s Department of Ecology to declare a burn ban, which will go until Wednesday. You can still use a wood stove as a source of heat for your house despite the ban.
