Sheri Darlene Hoagland 1960-2020
Sheri Darlene Hoagland passed away unexpectedly at her home in Chewelah, Washington on August 27, 2020. Sheri was born in Texas on September 4, 1960.
Sheri spent her early years being raised by her loving aunt and uncle, later working at Texas Instruments assembling electrical components for the company. During this time, she welcomed two children, her son, Bradley Spangler, and her daughter, Stephanie Spangler.
In 1994, Sheri was bartending in Indian Springs NV, just outside Las Vegas, when she met the future love of her life, Cliff Hoagland. It was love at first sight, with Sheri moving in with Cliff just a month later. There was something very special about Sheri, and Cliff knew that he had to marry her, and they were wed on September 16, 1994.
After spending a few years in Indian Springs, NV, Sheri and Cliff relocated to the Pacific Northwest, first moving to Chewelah before settling down on Browns Lake for a few years. After 5 beautiful years at Browns Lake, Cliff and Sheri made the decision to return to Chewelah, where Sheri began to work at a sewing factory. When the factory closed down, Sheri found her new calling helping to selflessly care for others as a certified nursing assistant at Quail Hollow Assisted Living.
After five years of working as a certified nursing assistant, Sheri made the transition to retirement due to health reasons. In retirement, she was able to fulfill her desire to care for others by taking care of, and rescuing, several animals, which she loved dearly. Sheri loved to collect and create art, decorating her house with hand painted saw blades and a painted steer head, among other unique finds and creations. Above all else, Sheri enjoyed the time she spent at home with her adoring husband Cliff.
Sheri is survived by her loving husband, Cliff Hoagland at the home; son, Bradley Spangler of Dallas, TX; daughter, Stephanie Spangler of Dallas, TX, and sisters Sue Ashlock and Laverne.
