(STAFF REPORTS/Chewelah Independent)
Frosty the Snowman is coming early, and he is bringing friends.
The National Weather Service issued an early season winter storm watch beginning on Friday morning and going through late Friday night. Heavy snow is possible with an accumulation of one to three inches below 1,500 feet in NE Washington.
Above 1,500 feet – well you can expect three to six inches.
Plan on slippery road conditions, while the heavy wet snow could also lead to broken tree limbs and power outages.
