The 17th annual Women Making a Difference Luncheon is steadily approaching. We’re excited to announce this year’s speaker, Marilyn Van Derbur, author of “Miss America by Day” and a survivor of child sexual abuse, for our annual luncheon which will be held on Friday, October 14, 2016 at the Community Colleges of Spokane – Northeast Washington Conference Center in Colville.
The purpose of this annual fundraiser is to raise funds that will support critical programs and services provided by Rural Resources Victim Services and Kids First Children’s Advocacy Center, including a 24-Hour Help Line and many other necessary services. We are fortunate our luncheon’s success has changed so many lives of victims in our community who are now healthier and happier.
If you’re interested in attending the luncheon, contact Laurie Cole at 509-685-6088.
