Two children also injured in wreck at Dahl intersection…
A 43-year-old woman was killed in a two-car collision one mile north of Deer Park at the Dahl road intersection on Tuesday, March 28.
According to a report by the Washington State Patrol, Elizabeth Knudsen of Loon Lake was driving a 2005 Kia Spectra northbound on Highway 395 at approximately 4 p.m. when a 1997 Dodge Ram 2500 pickup driven by a juvenile failed to yield at the Dahl Road intersection. The collision resulted in the death of Knudsen. A 10-year old and a seven-year old riding in the Spectra were both injured and transported to Sacred Heart Medical Center.
The driver of the Dodge Ram was also transported to Sacred Heart Medical Center.
The cause of the accident is under investigation and charges are pending. No drugs or alcohol were reported by Washington State Patrol in their report.
