William Naccarato, 1922-2016
William “Bill” Naccarato, passed away on September 7, 2016 at the age of 94 at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, WA. Bill was born on January 12, 1922 to Tony and Carmella Naccarato in Priest River, ID.
After his father passed away they moved to Kellogg, ID for a short time and then returned to Priest River where he graduated from Priest River High School. Soon after graduation, he joined the United States Air Force. During his time of service, he was stationed in Florida at Eglin Air Force Base. This is where he met the love of his life, Edith (Baker) Naccarato. Once he was honorably discharged, they moved back to Priest River where they started their family. He worked as an automotive mechanic for 40+ years. Bill retired in 2005 and moved to Chewelah, WA to be closer to his son, Mark.
He is preceded in death by wife, Edith; daughter, Barbara Lunde; and grandson, Wayne Davison.
Bill is survived by son, Mark Naccarato and wife Sheri; 7 grandchildren, Brian, Brent, Justin, Cory, Michael, and Nicholas Naccarato, Danielle (Tucker) Tupek; 8 great grandchildren, Ruby and Vivian Tupek, Pierce Naccarato, Makayla Johnson, Elle Plotts-Naccarato, Paige, Sasha, and Naomi Davison; 1 great great-grandchild, Ryker Williamson.
