Hunters topped at home
Hunters hosted a good Curlew squad Wednesday evening aiming for an upset, but came out on the other end with a 58-7 loss.
Curlew showed their might early on to get the quick lead, and they never let up to keep the pressure on the Lions all night.
Megan Erspamer, Kamea Stam, and Kimberly Edgemon led the scoring for Hunters (1-14, 1-10) with 2 points each.
Northport falls at home
Northport started out strong but ultimately succumbed to their visitors from Odessa, falling to the Tigers 57-35.
The Mustangs (5-8, 4-5) battled hard in the first despite falling behind, but runs by Odessa in the middle quarters left Northport with a large deficit they couldn’t overcome, even with a fourth quarter that saw them outscore Odessa 11-5.
