We didn’t expect winter to end just yet, right?
According to the National Weather Service a late season winter storm will deliver heavy wet snow to northeast Washington and the Northern Panhandle of Idaho beginning on Monday night and continuing through the Tuesday morning commute. Snow will increase in intensity through the morning hours Tuesday and a total of three to six inches is expected in the valleys, while five to 10 inches are predicted in the mountains.
Officials say plan on slippery road conditions as road conditions could be extremely difficult on Tuesday.
