Washington workers so their yearly wage rise to $65K in 2018 according to the Employment Security Department. These new numbers released last week showed that the average yearly salary for people grew 5.5 percent in 2018 to $65,301. This is significantly more than Idaho’s $43,480. This is the largest jump from year to year in the state since 2006. The average worker made $1,255 per week in 2018. The industries with the largest average wage growth was retail trade with wages up 16.9 percent and information technology, which saw a jump of 13.1 percent.
