Stutzer leads Indians with eight kills…
Colville continues to impress on the young season with another win, this time a straight victory over visiting Medical Lake, 25-12, 25-18, 25-16.
Brroke Stutzer did a little of everything for the Indians (5-1, 3-1) by leading the team with eight kills, four aces, and three blocks. Kiley Power added 22 assists on the evening and had four aces of her own to help things out. Katelynn Lewis rounded things out on the defensive end with a team high eight digs in the stifling win over the Cardinals (1-6, 0-5).
Colville will head to Freeman for an Oct. 1 game beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Lawrence notches four kills for Bulldogs in win over Davenport
It took one extra set, but Kettle Falls walked away from their Thursday road matchup against Davenport with a big win, 25-17, 25-16, 18-25, 25-18.
Davenport’s (1-9, 0-3) win in the third set didn’t stave off the inevitable for too long after the Bulldogs (1-3, 1-2) jumped out to a two-set lead on the night. They got right back down to business in the fourth to seal the win and send the Grizzlies home disappointed.
Kathryn Lawrence had four kills and an ace, and Jocelyn Glover had eight assists to lead the way for the Bulldogs offense, while Linsey Hippler paced the defense with three blocks to go with an ace.
Kettle Falls will take on Springdale in a home matchup Oct. 1 at 6:30 p.m.
