UPCOMING EVENTS
Cancer Support Group starting in Chewelah
A Cancer Support Group is forming in Chewelah on Tuesdays and is now having meetings at 1 p.m. at the United Church of Christ, (10 E Webster, corner of 395 and Webster Ave). The diagnosis of “cancer” is a life changer not only for the patient but also for their family and friends. Starting down this road one is full of questions, confusion and most of all – fear. This support group is to give all people involved a meeting where we can discuss freely our individual
journeys. There are many kinds of types of treatment and even more types of cancer so our discussions will not focus on particular types of cancer or treatments, but on our fears, our methods of coping and how we can help support each other on our personal paths. There is life with cancer. Let’s talk about it. For more information please call Cheri Freeman, 935-6681 or 509-675-1350.
