Trap club will start Spokesman-Review shoot this Saturday.
The Chewelah Trap Club will begin shooting for this season’s Spokesman-Review Trap Shoot on Saturday, Jan. 12, at 9 a.m.
Organizer Ken Frizzell said that the first two scores that day will be used for week one and week two of the shoot. The remainder of the day will be for fun.
The club invites anyone that wants to shoot to come down to the range on Quarry-Browns Lake Rd.
The Spokesman-Review Inland Northwest Trapshoot is in its 100th year, showcasing trapshooters throughout Washington, Idaho, Montana and Oregon. The eight-week contest is the oldest and largest shoot of its kind in the country.
