This week we feature local business, T&M Restoration LLC of Chewelah. TM Restoration has relocated further south out of the 395 Business Plaza to their own building west of Highway 395.
The building restoration business moved to its new location (at 101 W. South Street) on Jan. 3 after renting an office space at the 395 Plaza (at 401 S. Park St.) for about a year.
Office Manager Corrie Sams said they purchased the new building, which was vacant for a long time, to accommodate their need for more space.
Sams said one of the biggest advantages is the “huge” shop adjacent to the office that they use as a storage and content cleaning facility. Prior to relocating, she said they had to rent shop space separate from their office, which was not as convenient or cost-effective for the business they run.
They also have a reception area and individual office and meeting room in the new location.
T&M Restoration did not have to make many changes to their new space as they just added interior paint and wall decor, and signs on the exterior. All the decor has been loaned by Jones and Lowe Home Decor and Gifts out of Loon Lake and is for sale at the T&M office. Sams said it is a good arrangement because they get to display nice artwork for free while helping a local business.
All the business signs have been made by Stickit Signs and Sams said they still plan to add more.
T&M Restoration is owned by Kevin and Tammy Triplett who moved to the area in 2001 from Rockford, near Spokane, to be closer to family. The business brings together over 25 years of combined experience as experts in property loss recovery due to fire, water, mold and storm damage.
“The biggest thing for us is making sure the customer’s home is back to its original condition,” Sams said. “We like working directly with the customer in making sure our service is at the highest quality.”
