Newly discovered Neptune moon caused by comet collision…
Neptune has a new moon, discovered in 2013 by the Hubbe Space Telescope and scientists recently discovered the tiny moon is probably part of an ancient, larger moon that was orbiting unusually close to the 8th planet of the solar system. The 21-mile-diameter moon, Hippocamp (named after a mythological seahorse) is believed to have formed from debris created billions of years ago when a comet slammed into Proteus, the largest of Neptune’s inner moons. Cutthroat and Bull Trout recovering in NE Washington
The Spokesman-Review is reporting on a major recovery project that spans hundreds of miles of creeks, rivers and lakes in NE Washington to help recover westslope cutthroat trout to the area. Tim Eyman says taking office chair without paying from Office Depot was mistake
Eyman, caught on video walking out with a chair from an Office Depot entryway in Lacey, Washington said that it was a mistake. Eyman – known for several initiatives he’s tried to get passed in the state – said he intended to pay for the chair, but got a cellphone call that distracted him and he forgot. Video shows Eyman in a t-shirt that says “Let the voters decide” take the chair and then return in the story where he exchanged a printer and buy another one.
