Public Lands Commissioner Hilary Franz is asked the state legislature for $55 million to dedicate to the Department of Natural Resource’s fire response team and fund programs to thin timber most susceptible to scorching. Thousands of yellow vest protesters marched Saturday through Paris and other French cities for a ninth straight weekend to denounce President Emmanuel Macron’s economic policies, and repeated tensions broke out with police.
