Kayti Hilzinger directing musical set for Dec. 9-11 at JJSHS
“Journey under the sea” in Disney’s The Little Mermaid JR, directed by Kayti Hilzinger and produced by Janet McLaughlin. Adapted from Disney’s Broadway production and the major motion picture, this fishy fable will capture your heart with its irresistible songs including “Under the Sea” “Kiss the Girl” and “Part of Your World.”
Ariel (Tylee Frizzell), King Triton’s (Robert Thompson) youngest daughter, wishes to pursue the human Prince Eric (Judah Katona) in the world above, bargaining with the evil sea witch, Ursula (Jaydin Ludeman), to trade her tail for legs. But the bargain is not what it seems, and Ariel needs the help of her colorful friends, Flounder the fish (Tommy Kirry), Scuttle the seagull (Andras Bakken), and Sebastian the crab (Cedar George) to restore order under the sea.
