Custom tattoos now available in Chewelah
Mom’s Custom Tattoo, owned by Beth Swilling and headquartered in Spokane, just recently opened its first satellite location on Chewelah’s Main Avenue.
The new location, which is managed by tattoo artist Traci Manley, is open every Sunday 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Monday 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. It is located at 429 E Main St., —next door to the Aaron Huff Memorial Cultural Center.
Traci, a tattoo artist for 11 years, moved to Chewelah from Portland a year ago. She said Mom’s Custom Tattoo gets a lot of business from north of Spokane and it made sense to open a location in Chewelah. She is looking forward to the 4-mile commute versus a 50-mile commute.
Traci is available for appointment or walk-ins, and offers free consultations. She offers custom tattoo services but no body piercing right now although she does have a small selection of hanging earrings for sale in Chewelah.
To contact Traci, call Mom’s Custom Tattoo at 509-426-4465.
You can also meet Traci at the artist reception during the Autumn Showcase at the Aaron Huff Memorial Cultural Center this Friday and Saturday.
Heather’s Custom Cakes closing store front
Heather Moffitt of Heather’s Custom Cakes and Desserts will be closing her Chewelah store front in December. She opened her bakery last August on Park Ave. just north of Safeway.
Moffitt said she still plans to continue creating her custom desserts and will take orders from home after the store closes.
“I’m going back home to do orders because I do alot of charity work. I enjoy that,” Moffitt said.
Heather no longer has a display of ready-baked goods available at the store front, but call her at 509-936-4557 to place an order.
