Jory Dotts leads Indians with 14 points…
Where do you start with this one? Colville rode a dominant first quarter all the way to win Saturday over No. 7-ranked Deer Park 75-67 in NEA League play. Colville went into the game with a 5-11 record while Deer Park had an 11-3 mark.
Deer Park had been tied with Medical Lake for first in the league standings. But, it was the Indians who looked like the top team right from the start, building a 12-point first quarter lead behind good shooting and aggressive defense. That lead grew to 14 by halftime. The Stags made their own run in the third to get back in the game, but Colville put a halt to that comeback with another solid quarter to close out the game and the win.
Five Colville (6-11, 3-6) players scored more than 10 in the game led by 14 from Jory Dotts and 13 from Samiuel Anderson. Makennon Floener (12), Austin True (11), and Rhett Foulkes (11) added their own firepower to the game to aid in the win.
Colville will travel down to Riverside for their next game Jan. 31 at 7:15 p.m.
