Richard Ernest Droter 1941–2016
Born to James and Nellie Droter in Spokane, WA
Attended school in Chewelah and Valley, graduating in 1959 from Valley High School.
Upon graduation he entered into the U.S. Navy where he learned his life’s career as a machinist. He worked for Wagstaff eventually starting his own business. His expertise was sought by the likes of Kaiser Aluminum.
Rich was an accomplished archer, loved fly fishing, playing pool and country music.
He lived in Millwood, Newman Lake and Chattaroy.
Rich is preceded in death by his parents, brother John (Jack) Droter and sister Corinne Castle.
Survived by daughters Debbi Davis (Ron) and Cindy Murphy. Six grandchildren Tara, Josh and Courtney Davis, Mckenzie, Tanner and CeAnna Murphy. One sister Carol Bordwell (Mike).
A celebration of life and potluck will be held at the Spokane Valley Eagles, Sunday, November 6, 2016. from 1-3 p.m.
