The Stevens County Republican headquarters opened Monday, July 18. It will be open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. until the General Election in November.
The headquarters is located at 205 S. Park Street on Highway 395 in Chewelah—2 blocks south of Main Street. There will be information on candidates running in the Primary Election on August 2, as well as for those running in the General Election. The public is invited to visit the center, pick up candidates signs and have any questions answered. People can also come and join the other volunteers as well as find out how they can make a difference in Stevens County or even get to meet candidates who may drop by from time to time.
Grand Opening of the facility will take place on Monday, July 25 from 5-8 p.m. with a special visit from Bill Bryant who is the candidate for Governor. The public is invited to hear Bryant’s views as why we need a new governor in Olympia. Bryant is recognized as innovative, a local government leader and conservationist with an international background in trade that is so important for the State of Washington, having served as Port of Seattle Commissioner.
