Ramona Jean Richardson Clavel 1936-2019
Ramona Jean Richardson Clavel, a longtime resident of Wheaton IL , passed away January 30th.
She was born in 1936 in Colville to E. Blaine Richardson and Ethel Michael Richardson McClain. Growing up in the Colville/Chewelah area with loving parents , two brothers Lester and Melvin and sister Bonnie (Rail) as well as a large extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins made for a joyful childhood.
She graduated from Jenkins High School in 1954 and later found employment at Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane. While there she met Robert (Bob) Clavel a student at Gonzaga University and the rest is history as they say!
She is survived by her husband , three sons and one daughter, seven grandchildren three great grandchildren.
She was preceeded in death by one son and his wife, her two brothers and some very special friends.
Funeral Mass was at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in the Wheaton area and family and friends joined together in Spokane later for a farewell in the chapel at Holy Cross Cemetery.
