Colville tribe veterans join Standing Rock supporters
According to the Tribal Tribune, Colville veterans have joined the thousands at Standing Rock in support of Water Protector’s resistance to the Dakota Access Pipeline from organizers. The Tribune reports 10 Colville tribal veterans traveled from the Colville Reservation to Standing Rock, Friday, along with several thousand other U.S. military veterans.
