On Sunday, November 27, a man alleged that at approximately 4 p.m. he was racially insulted and physically assaulted near the intersection of King Ave. and 3rd St. E. The victim described two white male suspects. One may be approximately 6’02” tall, 260 pounds, have dark hair, a scruffy beard, could have an injury on the left side of his face, and may also be left-handed. The other male was described as 6’ tall, 200 pounds, clean shaven with a dirty face. Please call the Police Department at 935-6555 if you have any information regarding the identity of these two individuals.
Officers made twelve traffic stops; responded to four incomplete 911 calls; looked for a warrant suspect; and a lady reported her sister missing after she was unable to reach her by phone for a month. The sister was located and, well, I guess some people just don’t like to talk on the phone. Three assault complaints; two assist calls to other agencies; a traffic situation or two were reported; and an officer responded to a residential alarm. An info report; a theft of alcohol; a domestic argument was reported; and an officer assisted the S.O. on a DV assault north of town. The suspect resisted arrest and went to jail…tired. Officers responded to three complaints of dogs at large and two of them were impounded. An unwanted person complaint; a man was trespassed from a convenience store for suspected theft; a vehicle was reported stolen, then it was located; an officer attempted to locate a vehicle for another agency; a book and a binder were found on the highway; and a man reported that his ex’ removed items from a storage unit. Playing a country song backwards won’t actually get your things back but there is a civil process you can try if you have the time.
