I see this picture on the front page of the paper, a picture of the high school track with a ditch across the track. All you are looking for is sympathy so that the district can run the levy again to get money to fix it. What is wrong with people, we the voters voted down the levy once, are you going to run it again? And again hoping the voters feel sorry.
I am on a fixed income as many many people in this area and we can’t afford any more money in taxes. I thought the kids went to school to learn. How to read and write and do math not play sports.
Write more citations in the city and raise the fines so maybe the city can help them out.
If you people of Chewelah want the track and football field fixed. Why don’t you do it the good old boys way. Every good old boy chip in with their equipment and time.
