According to the National Weather Service, Spokane had its coldest October on record with only five days having above average high temps. In October, one day had an average temp for Spokane and 25 were below average.
Wenatchee, Ephrata, Sandpoint and Moscow also saw the coldest October on record.
Spokane’s early snow storm in September was also the second earliest on record. In the second week of October, Spokane also saw 3.6 inches of snow.
