Buy your Christmas gifts and help a hurting world! Sherry Sauskojus, daughter of Dan and Ginger Work, will present the ministry of Mercy Market on Dec. 12 at 6:30 p.m. at Chewelah Evangelical Free Church. There will be many hand crafted items for sale at that time.
Mercy Market exists to extend hope and mercy to a hurting world through the sale of international artistry. Eery penny you spend on these beautiful crafted items goes to women and families who live in desperate conditions. You will see hand woven silk scarves, embroidered purses and satchels, table covers, baskets, soap, jewelry. Through the sale of these things, young girls are rescued off the streets from prostitution, families can make a living and lives are changed. Purchasing these products provides families an honorable way to have food, shelter and medicine.
Sherry, along with two other founding ladies, visited SE Asia, and she will present the ministry through prictures and a talk. Mercy Market is a not for profit organization. Check it out at www.mercymarket.org.
