Happy Monday everybody! Chewelah is rounding out in rare fall form. There’s been no doubt the decision in the household whether to fire up the wood stove or not. We’re in that sweet spot where your house is either 85 degrees from the stove, or 50 degrees and beginning to refrigerate milk at room temperature.
There’s also the panicked “firewood shuffle” everybody does around town. Find a fallen tree? Cut it up! Did that power pole fall down behind Safeway? Cut it up! The highways will be no doubt inundated with pickup trucks stacked to the brim with firewood to ward off the impending cold. So safely stacking their firewood and others expecting the people behind them to play a highway traffic version of Frogger.
Speaking of fall weather, school is obviously back in session, which always throws us for a loop on Mondays.
It’s funny how something as trivial as starting an hour late can mess things up but seriously, when you’re parent-age, an hour change in a finely-tuned schedule is like throwing a wrench in a nuclear reactor. WHY DO YOU HAVE TO MESS WITH OUR EARLY MORNING HABITS.
And last but not least, the Seahawks won! They thumped the 49er! Oh what a day on Sunday!
Did you see Russell Wilson almost end his career? Seahawks fans were basically like…
But apparently the dude is made like Gumby, came in the next play after his other ankle had bent at an angle ment for skyscrapers and was probably held out the rest of the game only because the Niners were terrible.
Anyways, have a great week!
