Life Flight was called to a multi-vehicle crash near Loon Lake on Highway 395 Saturday morning. Washington State Patrol said that around 11 a.m., a 2001 Chevy pickup driven by 59-year-old Timothy Clark of Clayton ran head-on into a concrete truck driven by John Goodman, 46, of Colville. He was headed southbound, crossed the centerline and hit the concrete truck which was in the northbound lane.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
Clark was airlifted by Life Flight to Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane.
Goodman was also injured in the accident and was transported by ambulance to Sacred Heart as well.
Northbound Highway 395 at mile post 195 was closed for hours following the crash, and a detour was set up at Deer Lake Road.
