Several plant varieties will be for sale at the annual Chewelah FFA Plant Sale on May 18-19 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the JHS Green House (702 East Lincoln).
The FFA pushed their “Mother’s Day” sale back a week as they just returned from the FFA state convention in Pullman. Plants include geraniums, lavender, hanging baskets, petunias, and veggie starts. They also have more herbs available than in previous years and cedar planters for sale as well.
In addition, students will have a booth at the Chewelah Farmers Market on Friday, May 18 as a second selling location.
Stop by and support the Chewelah FFA Chapter and the Jenkins High School Agricultural Education Department.
In conjunction with the FFA fundraiser, the JHS Special Olympics team will be holding a bake sale and yard sale in the adjacent parking lot on May 19. They will be raffling off an FFA hanging basket and other items.
