Here are JJSHS’s students of the month…
Natalie George – 7th grade, nominated by Mrs. Kernan
Natalie is a student who is eager to learn and be involved. She is a great model of what a “student athlete” is and is a great role model for those around her.
Ava Hartill – 8th grade, nominated by Mr. Ludwig
Ava has scored a perfect 100 percent on both of her tests and has every assignment turned in.
Allison Cairns – 9th grade, nominated by Mr. Hanson
A very hard-working respectful student who strives to make the day better for other students around her.
A super Cougar.
Nolan Hansen and Joe Dreiszus – 10th grade, nominated by Mrs. Baker
It is difficult to separate Nolan and Joe in World History, which is why I nominated them as a pair. Joe is more outwardly interactive while Nolan is more quiet and reserved. What sets them apart is the competition they have between them with regard to grades. In their case, it is a friendly competition which raises the level of performance for both students. Joe and Nolan are a pleasure to have in World History. I appreciate the positive effort they bring to class every single day.
Polly Cooley – 11th grade, nominated by Mr. Monasmith
Great listener and speaker. Always on task and works ahead of schedule. Has a very funny giggle, also!!
Emily Rowe – 12th grade, nominated by Mr. Anegon
Always willing to help others in class with work; takes time and makes the effort to engage fruitfully in class discussions; a positive contributor to the classroom environment.
