Marcella Rae Delgado passed away peacefully in her Chewelah home on September 24, 2020 surrounded by those who loved her. Marcella was born in Pasco, WA to Marvin and Ruth (Holmes) Everhart on July 18, 1951.

She graduated high school in Grand Coulee, class of 1969. After graduating high school Marcella decided to enroll in Beauty school and graduated in 1970. A few years later Marcella met the man of her dreams Juan. And on the 20th day of November in 1981 they said their I Do’s. Later, they both decided to move to Chewelah, WA and that’s where they stayed.




Marcella loved to cook. One of her favorite things to make was tamales; everyone just absolutely loved it when she would cook. The family loved to listen to Marcella tell stories whether it was just old memories or even a story that she had heard. Marcella was a family woman and loved them dearly. Another one of her favorite things to do was going to church; she loved going every chance she could.

Marcella was a God loving woman. She was an avid collector of Hispanic cultural knick knacks also with home décor. Marcella loved animals very much but most of all she loved her kitties. She loved to watch them play around, there was no doubt that her kitties were her babies and she loved them very much. She also loved to bird watch as much as she could. Marcella will be dearly missed by all who had the opportunity to know her.
