I recently watched the television commercial for U.S. Senator Maria Cantwell (D-WA) wanting voters to re-elect her to the U.S. Senate for another six years. In the commercial, she claims credit for keeping shipbuilding in the state and hiring veterans.
I don’t know about you, but I haven’t seen any shipbuilding happening on the Spokane River. Or anywhere else in eastern Washington. So she must be talking about the other side of our state.
I want to know what has she done for the voters, citizens, and property owners in eastern Washington. The answer is nothing.
I will not vote for Maria Cantwell. I will vote for Michael Baumgartner and I ask that all of you vote for Mr. Baumgartner also. We cannot afford to waste our vote on someone who hasn’t helped any of us on the “orphaned” part of the state. We cannot afford to be stuck with her another six years.
If she does get re-elected, then I suggest she move her office from Spokane to either Seattle or Olympia since she obviously isn’t representing eastern Washington. Please do not vote for her.
