Our loving father Curtis David “Dave” Hardee made his final journey home on May 18, 2016.
Dave (Dad) was born May 10, 1955 to Curtis C. Hardee and Neeta M. Hardee in the city of Spokane, WA. He spent most of his childhood years growing up in Spokane. Throughout most of his early life dad enjoyed doing many fun and exciting things such as bull riding and racing funny cars just to name a few. Dad also enjoyed fishing, camping, and BBQ’s. It’s no secret dad had a good time doing the things he loved.
In the late summer of 1989 our dad finally settled down and had a family. Dad worked as a car salesman for the longest time, including a long stint at Booth and LaDuke Motors now known as Country Chevrolet.
Dad took a real interest in our veterans and would always support them. One of the last things he was doing was security enforcement at the stand downs.
Our dad was so full of life, laughter, and love. It truly goes without saying that such a huge personality and such a huge presence has left us and though it has broken our hearts dad would simply say good bye is not forever.
Dad was proceeded in death by his parents, Curtis C. Hardee and Neeta M. Fritz Hardee and one nephew, Ron Hardee.
He is survived by his two daughters; Deserea Hardee McCulla, of Elk, WA and Loressa Hardee of Addy, WA, three grandchildren; Amara Golden (7), Misty McLean (7) and Maddison McLean (3 months), his brother: Clif Hardee, sisters; Charlene Walt, Margret Hardee Wright, all of Spokane, WA, Neeta Hardee Bunting of Springdale, WA, his Aunt Georgia Strebeck also of Spokane and many other family members and friends.
A celebration of Dave’s life will be held at a later date.
