BE INVOLVED: Community members ask to be part of a school district committee…
The Chewelah School District is looking for members for a Facilities Oversight Committee to help as the district looks at its current situation with buildings and plans for the future.
The district has several facilities questions for the future including a middle school no longer in use, boiler issues at the high school and the newest building, Gess Elementary, being nearly 40-years old.
Committee members would serve possibly for multiple years, attend monthly meetings and participate in school board meetings as needed to provide updates.
Members can pick up a form to fill out at the Chewelah School District office and along with contact info should provide info on what contributions they could make to the Facilities Oversight Committee and what experience they have in this type of work.
People can return the form to the Chewelah School District Office or email it to firstname.lastname@example.org.
