Pitt’s Pro-Tips, Jason Pitt PGA
This month is all about improving your short putts (under five feet). This is a technique that will help all golfers regardless of skill level. One of the biggest mistakes we make on short putts is to look up and see where the ball is going. Instead of looking up, keep your head down and listen intently for the sound of the ball dropping in the cup. You will find that this is particularly helpful on putts shorter than five feet. Try it the next time you are out on the course or practicing on the putting green; you will be surprised on how many more short putts you make.

The golf course is in fantastic shape. Here are some important reminders of the June events that are happening at the golf course.
Bill Tiderman and the Far Corners Band will be providing live music (classic rock & roll and country) on June 11, 6-9 p.m. on the Chewelah Golf and Country Club Patio. There is no cover charge, but you need to sign up by calling The Rusty Putter Bar and Grill at 935-6807 ext. 4.
We support Junior Golf! All golfers under age 17 play free Wednesday afternoons and all day Sunday with a paying adult. In addition, our annual Junior Golf classes are taking place from June 21-24 from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. Call the Pro-shop at 935-6807 ext. 1 to sign up today.
If you are interested in a quick round of golf after work , our Original 9-hole course is perfect! With daylight until 8 p.m., you can get a round in and still have time to stop by the Rusty Putter Bar and Grill to wind down. Give the Pro-shop a call to set a tee time.
