Easter Egg Hunt moved to Barbour Complex…
The Kiwanis Easter Egg Hunt is the latest victim of springtime flooding as their annual event is usually held in the Chewelah City Park and the Little League Field. Due to the conditions of both those areas, the Kiwanis are moving the easter egg hunt to the much drier Barbour Complex at Jenkins High School.
The easter egg hunt will take place Easter Sunday (April 16) at 1 p.m. at the high school.
The city park still has plenty of mud and debris on the Lincoln Street Bridge and the Little League Field still has a wet outfield.
