Lakeside takes win over Lakeland
The Lakeside Eagles took down Lakeland in a non-conference matchup Saturday night 77-65. Tristan Cox put up five three-pointers on his way to a game high 21 points for the Eagles (3-1).
Josiah Haaland scored 18 in the losing effort for the Hawks (2-2). Lakeside hosts Medical Lake in a conference matchup Dec. 11 at 5:30 p.m.
Colville boys fall to Omak
The Colville boys lost a non-conference matchup with Omak ( Saturday by a score of 64-39. The loss keeps the Indians (0-4) winless on the season.
No details of the game were reported.
Colville next takes on Newport in a conference game Dec. 11, tipping off at 5:30 p.m.
Wellpinit boys lose on the road
Almira/Coulee-Hartline took it to Wellpinit Saturday night, beating the Redskins 80-45. Wellpinit (1-2, 1-1) got 14 from Brendan Andrews and 13 from Kobe Stearns, but iut wasn’t enough to overcome the offensive barrage by the Warriors (1-0).
ACH was led by Reece Isaak, who had 26 points and 16 rebounds, and Brayton Schafer’s 14 points. Wellpinit will host Hunters Dec. 11, beginning at 7:30 p.m.
Kettle Falls drops a close one to Tekoa-Rosalia
Kettle Falls couldn’t hold on to a nine-point halftime lead in a loss to the Tekoa-Rosalia Timberwolves 55-48. The Bulldogs (3-3) came out cold in the second half, scoring just five points in the third quarter after putting up 31 in the first half, getting outscored by 11 in the period by the Timberwolves (3-1).
Tekoa-Rosalia extended the lead in the fourth on their way to the win. Craig Mueller headed all scoring in the game with 18 for the Timberwolves, while Matt Thompson and Charlie Andrews led the way for the Bulldogs with 17 and 14, respectively.
Kettle Falls heads to Chewelah for a conference matchup with the Cougars Dec. 14 at 7:30 p.m.
Selkirk nearly doubles up Curlew
The Selkirk boys traveled to Curlew Saturday evening and came away with a big conference win over the Curlew Panthers 64-35. Ryan Zimmerman posted 15 points in the win for the Rangers (2-2, 2-0), while Jacob Mills contributed eight for the Panthers (0-2, 0-2) in their loss.
Selkirk will head to Inchelium for another conference game Dec. 14, tipping at 7:30 p.m.
Northport takes out Republic
Northport got their first win of the season with a 61-47 victory on the road over Republic. Trenton Baribault scored 28 points, including five three-pointers, for the Mustangs (1-3, 1-1), who also got 14 from Jacob Corcoran.
Next up for Northport is a home game against Curlew Dec. 11 at 7:30 p.m.
