Event will provide information on energy-efficiency and bill assistance…
Area residents can learn energy-saving tips and ways to help manage their home energy bill at the free Avista Energy Fair. The event will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 16 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. in the Kalispel Hall at Spokane Community College, Colville Center, 985 South Elm Street.
The energy fair will include demonstrations of how to utilize energy-saving materials to help keep homes warm this winter. In addition, Avista employees will be available to share information about bill assistance, weatherization, and payment options. Community organizations will also be present to answer questions and provide helpful information about programs and services they provide.
Free admission to the event includes all demonstrations, free samples of energy-efficiency items, complimentary food and beverages, and door prizes.
“This event provides a great venue for customers to speak with Avista representatives about payment options, energy assistance and energy-efficiency,” said Ana Matthews, Avista’s consumer affairs program manager. “Attendees can also meet with our community agency partners that provide additional resources.”
