When considering how you will vote regarding the library, do some quick math.
If your property is valued at: $25,000 you would pay $9.75 per year or just over 81 cents per month; $80,000 you would pay $31.20 per year or $2.60 per month; $100,000 you would pay $39 per year or $3.25 per month; $150,000 you would pay $58.50 per year or $4.88 per month; $200,000 you would pay $78 per year of $6.50 per month; and if your property is worth more than $200,000 you can afford to buy your own calculator and figure it out yourself.
I came up with the above numbers using the current $.39 per thousand. That number could go up a bit, but not much.
I can barely imagine a situation where I would ever need the library and I guarantee you that Joan will never go into it, but there are many who do and we are gladly contributing to that cause.
