Audrey Wellhausen posted the biggest game any volleyball player has had in NE Washington so far this season, notching 24 kills in Springdale’s 25-10, 25-15, 25-12 victory over Valley Christian to move to 4-2 on the year. Macey Gines also had the biggest setting night of the year so far with 36 assists for the Lady Chargers.
“The kids played extremely well,” Springdale coach Matt Gines said. “Best we have played all season. Audrey and Macey had a monster game.”

Springdale bounced back from losses to Odessa and Wilbur-Creston-Keller to pick up this win against Valley Christian. So far this year, the Lady Chargers have been road warriors, winning three away games. They’ve also won 12 total sets in six games this year.
Springdale (4-2) will host Odessa this weekend at home, with game time beginning at 4 p.m.
